Shopify app development

A one-person studio
I'm Matt. CartStack is just me — a developer who builds and runs commerce apps under his own name, which means when I take on a client project I already know where the sharp edges are.
What I do
Public apps, custom apps, storefront extensions and checkout UI extensions. Built on the modern Shopify stack, designed to feel like part of the platform — not a tab in a different one.
Wiring your Shopify store into the rest of your business — order sync, stock sync, customer data, the lot. NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, Brightpearl, Linnworks — and the custom middleware where nothing off-the-shelf fits.
How I work
01
A call (or two) and a short written scope. We agree what you're actually trying to do, not just the feature list you walked in with.
02
I work in small, reviewable chunks. You see progress in a staging environment every few days. No fortnights of silence followed by a big reveal.
03
Plain-English docs, screen recordings for the parts that need them, and a short period where I'm on hand for the inevitable "what about…" questions.
A few sentences is enough to get the conversation started. No pitch deck, no follow-up emails if it's not a match.
